New Dynamic Playlist Page
This feature is available on individual team and player pages by selecting the icon on the left side of the white navigation bar. Each dynamic playlist pulls the last N video for a specific event determined by the user.
Users have the option to add filters to dynamic playlists similar to filters on overview graphics. In the component settings, users can adjust the number of plays, change the stat, and add a custom label. Also, the export button on the right allows users to export this playlist without opening the video player.
Similar to graphic configurations on overview pages, users can create and save dynamic playlist sets.
Here is an example of Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s dynamic playlists page after his first game of the season. All of the dynamic playlist components are set and filtered to show the last 25 pitches of each unique pitch type. In this first outing, he threw 14 fastballs, 11 cutters, 10 curveballs, and 8 changeups. This configuration is saved as “Dynamic Playlist Demo” and as the season goes on those playlists will show the most recent 25 videos of each pitch type.
Enhancements
Improved Recent PBP Lists and Labeling in Comparison Explorer
PBP lists initiated from graphics are now included in Recent PBP Lists in the comparison explorer. Relevant information such as chart type, play info, etc. is highlighted on the card.
If the video player is opened from a splits table, the split will be recognized on the Recent PBP Lists card.
Finally, the tab in the video player has been renamed “Video”.
Full Swing option added to Pitch Result Filter
